Red, White and Blue

When I contacted Jenny (who lives in Long Island, NY) about winning our "Jimmie Cone" contest, I told her that I would send her 4th of July cookies. She said that would be wonderful, could I address the package to her son who would turn 6 on June 29th. So instead of the typical 4th cookies, I personalized these for his birthday. I just hope they make it without getting damaged. By the way, we don't ship cookies--she won our contest so we made an exception.

Also this week, thanks to Julie for baseball cookie order and donation.

Raised in the Cages

Tonight we will be celebrating the accomplishments of the young men raised in the batting cages of Damascus High School.

I made these 18 bouquets to use as table centerpieces at the DHS baseball banquet. And yes, 18 lucky people will get to take one home!

Play Ball!

The young men on my son's Jr. American Legion baseball team are playing 11 games in 8 consecutive days. These cookies aren't for them--they are for the dedicated fans that cheer the team on. Don't feel sorry for the players, they have chocolate chip cookies coming their way!
