Bon Voyage

These holiday cookies are going on a boat ride. A hundred of them are traveling to Smith Island for the annual Christmas party the ladies have there. Smith Island is the only inhabited island on the Chesapeake Bay and it is only accessable by boat.

Check out this past Sunday's Washington Post Metro section. There's an article about the island and the famous Smith Island Cake, of which I have had the pleasure of tasting!

Thank you, Bee, for your donation to Damascus High School Post Prom.

  1. These Cookies were a Huge hit at the Annual United Methodist Women's Christmas Dinner hosted in Ewell, Maryland this year. I put a specially wrapped cookie on each guests' place setting. It was the perfect touch to an already beautifully decorated table. Everyone that I talked too commented on how delicious the cookies were and so pretty too! Thanks Audrey and Joan! Next year the dinner is hosted by the Rhodes Point U.M.W. I am already planning to take some to their dinner too. You both are great. Love to you both! Bee
