Snow Days!!!!

We're on our second snow day (and I'm thinking maybe a third tomorrow), which allows for extra "cookie time". Kyle asked for these for his mom's engagement party. He said just a winter theme would be good. So snowmen and hearts it was with the picture taken in the snow.

More Pink and White

These are for a beautiful baby girl's christening next month. Thanks for your order Alice.

I'll be getting away from the pink and white soon. I've got a lot of cookies baked that need to be iced--black and white birthday, teal and white engagement, and purple birthday and valentine. Oh, and most importantly--Festivus!!!! Yes, complete with the aluminum pole. Stay tuned...

Order Soon

With only 27 shopping days left until Valentine's Day, I wanted to remind everyone to order soon!

This is my first round of valentine baking. I wanted something in addition to the hearts, so I threw in the cupcakes and like them. No easy pink and white for my next round, have to go with red--a cookie decorator's nightmare! Stay tuned for a valentine bouquet and a new cause.

Replacement Cookie Partner

NO, I DID NOT FIRE JOAN!!!! Who would make cakepops for me :)

I replaced my old rolling pin. My wonderful husband got me this rolling pin for Christmas (no, he didn't come up with the idea on his own--I provided him with the photo and told him where to shop). This thing is amazing. It has three thickness settings that are very easy to change. I always "guessed" at cookie thickness and my cookies came out uneven. They are now perfect--all the same thickness.

In case you'd like to try it--it's a Joseph Joseph and costs around $20.00. My DH shopped at the local Williams Sonoma, but it can be bought on-line too.

Bread, Milk, Toilet Paper

and COOKIES of course!

There's talk of a snowstorm here this week, so I made these in hopes of a few "snow days". I'm not real happy with the shape of the mittens, but I love the snowmen--plain and simple.

If I do get a "snow day" or two :) off this week, does anyone need cookies? I'll probably have some baking time.
