Crab Feast

They aren't the real thing, but I would say a close second. These are for Bee to enjoy with family and friends at Smith Island next week. Enjoy!

Cookie Crazy!

Since the flip flop is the official cookie of summer, what better place to photograph it than at the beach!!

With the help of a few friends, and much discussion as to whether the cookie should be wasted by placing it directly on the sand, this was the final product. Everyone had a hand in the staging of this photo--Frankie and Ally made the sand castle, Monica so cleverly staged the cookie (on a napkin of course), and Bill took the photo.

Here Comes the Bride, the Bride, the Bride...

We made these for a bridal shower that was held on Saturday. Thank you, Kim, for your order and donation to Habitat for Humanity.

A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words

I'm considering these photos a testimonial.

The poor guy falls in his chair--yet saves his cookie from the sand!!!!!! I've hidden his identity to save him from embarrassment.

To the protect the guilty, I won't mention the names of the lady who yelled "Quick, get the camera!", of the man who took the photo, and of the family who stood by laughing instead of helping their dad/husband up.

It's Official

The flip flop is the official cookie of summer!! No matter how many of these I decorate, I never tire of them. I guess it's because there are so many different designs and colors to use.

Something Old, Something New

The gowns are old (although these are ivory, so not so old), the tuxes new--they pair quite well together. I always thought June was the wedding month but we seem to get most of our wedding orders in July.

Real or Artificial?

Isn't it so very hard to tell?

Sunflowers are my personal official flower of summer, I also have a personal official wine of summer too, but since this is a cookie blog...

I had never made these before, they turned out quite cute. When my middle son saw me posting this picture he thought they were real.

Anyway, I made these to keep in the freezer, so they are available for purchase--perfect for a summer birthday or as a hostess gift when invited to a backyard barbeque.

Hold Your Horses!

My friend, Pam, is a horse lover. There was a 4th of July event at the barn where she boards her horse. She ordered these cookies to take to that event. Audrey and I decorated them together. Aren't they FUN?

Another bridal shower!

Another tropical bridal shower...She wanted bride's dresses and hibiscus flowers. I think they look great plated together.
